  • Being named a distinguished alumni from the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications – along with Saturday Night Live star Darrell Hammond
  • Learning to fly an airplane
  • Being Godmother to Sandy and Aunt to Kelly, Lauren, Beth, Noelle and Emmy
  • Being named a Woman Who Makes a Difference by the Girl Scout Council
  • Visiting all seven continents and 72 countries – aiming for 100 countries!

  • Broke her leg in seven places two weeks after she moved in with the Van Nortwicks
  • Named after Sally Dew, a former PI staffer, who now lives in Oakland, CA and trains seeing eye dogs

The Facts:
Rescued as a stray puppy the day after Christmas 2002. My name comes from the Italian word for gift (regalo).  I look like a black lab with a white shirt, long legs, and my snout is getting gray. My mom thinks I waddle like a Rottweiler so she calls me her “Rotten Lab.”
